Dear Friends,
"I would like to thank Arctic Barnabas for their work over the years. They have filled a much needed gap for bush ministries by being a resource oriented ministry. That is very important for those of us that live off the road system. It is difficult, if not impossible, to be able to attend meetings and stay in the loop of opportunities in the greater ministry field of Alaska.
Several things stand out in my mind as I think of Arctic Barnabas. One is the encouragement that is provided along the way. Whether it is in the form of leveling a house in Scammon Bay or having someone call and check on your kids by talking directly to them and finding out how they are doing, or providing a ministry family retreat, or bringing pizza when they come visit. We have enjoyed the encouragement and are extremely thankful for it."

Dear Arctic Barnabas Ladies,
"I want you to know that I thoroughly enjoyed the retreat you put on for the pastors' wives. There are things that pastors' wives can share only with other pastors' wives. Your expressions of love in your ready willingness to serve us touched me to the depths of my heart where I am rarely touched. Even the stalest meal and the mushiest ice cream would have tasted like the rarest of food at the table you set for us. As I look back, I was sitting at "the banqueting table" the whole time, prepared for a queen!"

Dear Arctic Barnabas,
"I just received your beautiful newsletter, and zoomed right through it from front to back! What a piece of work! What an incredible team you have! How exciting to hear how God is using Arctic Barnabas to be encouragers, and connectors with others in the Body.
I have told people how meaningful it is to me to learn that life in the AK bush is so difficult and challenging, that a whole ministry has been born to care for missionaries. I used to feel that being a missionary kid in Alaska was somehow second rate compared to being an MK in some other country. The despreate need for Arctic Barnabas shows that it takes extra commitment and dedication and more significantly, extra emotional support to sustain ministry in the Alaskan bush. I'm even more proud of my parents now, for their long years of commitment to the Alaskan native people, but oh, what an incredible difference it would have made for our family to have Arctic Barnabas coming along side us."
