August 15 Update

Golovin1.jpgDespite inclement weather throughout the region, a Michigan work team was dropped off in Golovin last Thursday and the team working on a workshop in Koyuk was picked up and brought back to Kenai.  The weather was favorable for some sight-seeing on the Kenai end of the trip, so the returning team enjoyed glacier and wildlife viewing before landing.

The same day, Paul and Terry made their way back from Canada with the donated Cessna 206, arriving mid afternoon.  They had been delayed by a technical glitch with the plane in Prince George, BC, and had to sit in Haines Junction, YT for a day waiting on the weather.  We are thrilled with the addition to the fleet and are very grateful for the donor’s generosity.

Rob is flying out to Golovin tomorrow with additional parts for the project there and will be doing additional ministry flying in the Norton Sound area Wednesday before bringing the team home Thursday.
