And they’re off! The work team heading to Port Lions on Kodiak Island is on the ferry and on their way, having departed at 8:30 this morning (Alaska time). The seas have been quite rough, and an early report says that Arctic Barnabas’ director, Jonathan Peters, is already sick with flu-like symptoms (not sea-sickness). Please pray that the team will have strength to work hard when they get there, despite the tiring journey, and for the ministry of the Pastor there in Port Lions.
Work on the setup of our hangar is basically complete! The city inspector signed off on our bathroom installation late last week, all hose and electrical reels are installed, and everything has a place and is in its place. Just in time, as we are ready to start the process of an annual inspection and engine replacement on our Cessna 206. Donated this summer, this Cessna has been awaiting the funding and available manpower for a fresh engine—it all starts this week!
