Our annual family retreat is now behind us, and last week six of our staff members were in New Mexico at the annual Pastors to Missionaries conference hosted by Barnabas International (no official affiliation to ABM, but great friends and mentors).  It was a wonderful time of teaching, refreshment and fellowship with seasoned missionaries from around the world.

We are endeavoring to host many more retreats this year, both regional and state-wide for men and women.   Our first ladies retreat is November 3-5 in Nome which is coming up fast!  Please pray for the logistics of the event and the hearts of the ladies who will be there.

Later this month Alaska Christian College, Arctic Barnabas Ministries, Child Evangelism Fellowship, Missionary Aviation Repair Center, New Hope Counseling Center, and Samaritan’s Purse will be joining to share with our regional pastors what God is doing in remote Alaska.  We’ll seek their continued guidance on how we can expand our collective Gospel impact and discuss what we can do to increase the excitement & engagement of the Church in these ministry efforts.  This Alaska Missions/Pastors Luncheon is scheduled for October 28, please be praying for this event!
