- Who We Are
- What We Do
Your prayers for ABM are critical! Please remember the following subjects when you pray:
Fly with us to a remote Alaskan village to encourage others with your giftings.
If you enjoy doing home remodeling or mechanical repairs, put your skills to use and join one of our project teams. Specific objectives for each work project will help a pastor or missionary family make their house a home and keep their 4-wheelers, snowmachines, heaters, and other equipment running smoothly.
In addition, we always need help here at home base in Kenai with various projects in the hangar and in our office facility. Let us know of your interest in coming to Kenai to help us out. You might even enjoy some great salmon fishing on the Kenai River during your stay in town.
We request each volunteer to pay for their travel, lodging, and meal expenses during the trip. We will provide you with dates, budget, travel plans, and a packing list. Contact us if you are interested. We will provide you with an application. We welcome both men and women. Persons under the age of 18 will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
We take care to bring qualified persons with a heart of encouragement and a servant attitude to the villages. Each applicant must agree to the Arctic Barnabas Statement of Faith and represent those beliefs when present with us. Your application will help us evaluate how your gifts will best fit our ministry needs. We cannot guarantee every applicant for a village trip will be accepted.
