Gary Lidholm

Board Member

Gary was born and raised in Missouri and spent 22 years in Alaska most of
which was in ministry. He retired from the U.S. Forest Service where he spent
the latter part of his career as a public affairs officer. Gary is an ordained pastor
and holds a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from the University of Missouri and a
certificate in Adult Bible Studies from the Moody Bible Institute. Additionally, he
has completed postgraduate work in journalism with the University of Minnesota
and the University of Alaska.

Gary and his wonderful wife, Juanita, have been married for 52 years and have
been blessed with two children and two amazing grandchildren. They live in
Denver, Colorado, and enjoy traveling.

Gary went into full-time Christian service in 1995 including five years as the
Executive Director of Echo Ranch Bible Camp near Juneau, Alaska, and eight
years as pastor of Port Chilkoot Bible Church in Haines, Alaska.
Gary is passionate about ministry in Alaska and especially interested in
advancing support to ministry families serving in remote areas of the state.
