Ginni originally joined the Arctic Barnabas team in the spring of 2022 as an intern in the administrative department. She officially came on staff with Arctic Barnabas in the fall of 2022.
Ginni is a born and raised Alaskan, born in Sterling, Alaska, and raised in Kenai. She was raised in the church, growing up in a Bible-believing family and serving alongside her mother, who often cooked for church retreats, volunteer events, and conventions. This experience impacted her at a young age, teaching her the importance of living a life of service toward God.
Though Ginni grew up knowing about Jesus, it wasn’t until the fall of 2016 that she began to recognize her need for both a Savior and a Lord. She knew she couldn’t just believe in Jesus, but she wanted to follow and have a relationship with Him. When Ginni graduated from high school in 2020, she knew she wanted to serve God occupationally, though she didn’t know what that would look like. God eventually led her to serve with Arctic Barnabas.
God has used her time at Arctic Barnabas to show Ginni her gift for administration and a passion for helping others share the gospel. Ginni is also a full-time student at Kenai Peninsula College, hoping to complete a bachelor’s in Health Sciences and eventually work overseas as a full-time missionary.
