In this role, an ABM Instructor Pilot will be responsible for training ABM pilots, ensuring currency and proficiency for flight crew, working with short-term flight interns in furtherance of their training and use of the BATD flight simulator. Additional duties will be performing operational ministry flights as needed. Minimum pilot requirements are a Commercial license with Instrument and high-performance ratings and a current second-class medical certificate. Also required are 500 hours of Pilot in Command time before carrying passengers, 100 hours of flight time in Alaska is required, which can be obtained at ABM. Minimum instructor certificates are CFI and CFII, and preferably MEI, and three years of experience as instructor. An A&P license is not required but preferred.
