Accountability

Financial Accountability

We are continually humbled at how God directs resources through Arctic Barnabas Ministries to provide for His work in Alaska. Since everything  entrusted to us is ultimately His, we hold ourselves to the highest standards recognizing that our donors expect that level of stewardship and that we are ultimately accountable to Jehovah Jireh our God.

Ephesians 4:11-12 “And He Himself gave … for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,”

Luke 12:48 “…For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.”

A Reflection of God's Faithfulness in 2025

Dear Friend of ABM,

Thank you so much for your prayers, encouragement, and financial support of Arctic Barnabas Ministries! We appreciate your investment in our ministry very much!

This was our 25th year of ministry and we endeavored to come alongside and bless as many of the people the Lord has given us to serve as possible. In an unintentional nod to our 25th year, our team took 25 village trips this year serving in 27 different locations and ministering to 96 families.

Beyond our travels to serve and encourage, we also served 23 ministry families at our annual Ministry Family Retreat. We were privileged to host 62 people staying 100 nights at our Homer retreat, with 63 individuals enjoying afternoon meals and fellowship. We were also encouraged to see the Lord add ministry families to our care network. In fact, we set a goal at the beginning of the year to add two new ministry families to our network, only to see the Lord bring us 11 new families to serve!

Beyond what you have already read, He blessed us with a great 25th anniversary celebration and a wonderful first-ever Hope from the Hangar fundraising event. That event brought us halfway to our goal for building the Arctic Barnabas Homer Missionary Retreat which will double our capacity to provide in-state refreshment for pastors and missionaries! God is good!

Looking back on 2025, we are praising the Lord for all He has done! Through it all, it has been our honor to strengthen and encourage these ministry families for a singular purpose: so that they can more effectively advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We want to take a moment and thank you for helping us do our part to advance the Gospel in remote Alaska.

Thank you, and God Bless you!

Sincerely,

Robert C. Bearden
