Paul was born and raised in Alaska. He grew up on the Kenai Peninsula but now lives in Anchorage. He is a retired dentist having practiced in the Anchorage area for 36 years. He has Doctor of Dental Surgery and a Masters of Science both from the University of Minnesota.
Paul and his wonderful wife Jenny, have been married 47 years and have three adult sons and eight amazing grandchildren. Paul and Jenny share a passion for missions and Jenny grew up in a missionary family that served throughout the state of Alaska. Together they serve globally in dental and children’s missions. In addition to Paul’s role on the board of Arctic Barnabas, they serve with Heartreach in Wasilla, Alaska, Union Gospel Mission of Seattle, Washington, Proyecto Fe in Guatemala, and with Samaritan’s Purse World Medical Mission. Their ultimate passion is spreading the Gospel of Jesus and they love being able to help accomplish that in rural Alaska through Arctic Barnabas Ministries.
