Laura and Benjamin Leggott were married in 2000 and have raised their family in Western Nebraska. Both having been raised in Christian homes, Laura and Ben had a strong love of ministry and supporting missions. After 25 years of raising their four children, homeschooling, and church ministry involvement, Laura and Ben began praying about what God had planned for their next chapter as their children reached adulthood.Laura and Ben first heard of Arctic Barnabas Ministries when her sister and brother-in-law received care through Arctic Barnabas during their early years of serving in rural Alaska.In April of 2025, Laura joined the team at Arctic Barnabas Ministries as the Director of Administration and Finance Manager. Laura has an Associates of Arts Degree with an emphasis in Business Administration and Accounting. Ben is currently employed at BNSF Railway, but is pursuing a career in aviation.Their grown children are Tyler (and wife Ashley) living in Alaska, Emma (and husband Gideon) living in Illinois, Mayda living in South Dakota, and Wyatt living in Nebraska. Ben and Laura will be relocating to Kenai, AK, in July 2026.
