A Message from ABM Executive Director, Jonathan Peters
Psalms 145:13 reads, “Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does.”
Dear Friends,
What a fantastic and reassuring truth the Psalmist writes! Our Lord’s kingdom had no beginning and will have no end. He reigns over every generation of mankind, past, present and future. Our desires, longings and hope of being with Jesus for all eternity is held fast in the promises of a trustworthy and faithful Dad. Even as we rest on future promises, joy persists today because of the incredible promise of His presence in our now. The Creator of the universe, the crafter of each and everyone one of us, offers His very self to us, takes us by the hand to be with us in whatever journey we are currently walking. And, when we falter as we all sometimes do, our loving Father invites us to look back and recount all the ways He has carried us, sustained us and provided for our every need in sometimes miraculous ways. He continually woos us to draw nearer and challenges us to persist, to run with greater and greater faith.
As Team ABM looks forward to a busy summer, scheduling work trips, hosting retreats and visiting pastors throughout remote Alaska, we anticipate God’s pursuing the hearts of people, both to magnify Himself and to pour out healing and hope to those who long for more.
As you read and reflect today, my desire is that you will find encouragement in your walk with our Savior, that you would boldly ask God for incredible life change and that you would engage in the vision and work God has placed before you.
