Spang Family Arrives to ABM

Jeffrey and Bethany Spang just completed their move to Alaska to join the team here at Arctic Barnabas Ministries! This past fall, Jeffrey and a small crew of friends drove a refurbished prison bus loaded with the Spangs’ belongings straight through the “Lower 48”  and up the Alcan Highway to Alaska. Sometimes God provides for our transitions in the most unique ways.

In just a few days Jeffrey along with his crew of friends safely arrived to Anchorage. They met up with Bethany and the kids (who had flown up) and drove the rest of the way to Kenai, Alaska as a family. By the time snow arrived in Alaska, they and their four children had travelled all the way from North Carolina and made the trek up to their Alaskan mission field!

The Lord has given them a passion for reaching the unreached, and with the gifting God has given them, they are excited to be part of a team that supports those who are on the “front lines.”  They are eager to be on site with the ABM team and to begin building relationships with pastors and missionaries in Alaskan villages.

Jeffrey will help with logistics, IT and airplane maintenance. Bethany will help in the office and encourage women while training and teaching their three boys and newborn daughter. Right now they are endeavoring to practice I Chronicles 16:11, ESV:

“Seek the Lord and His strength, Seek His presence continually!”

The Arctic Barnabas Ministries staff are thrilled to welcome the Spangs! If you would like to read more or financially support the Spangs mission work with ABM please click here!
