Dear Ministry Partners and Friends,
As spring bursts across the American landscape, Alaska remains a Johnny-come-lately, taking its time to shed winter’s wardrobe. Even so, we celebrate the arrival of spring after another long, dark, cold Alaskan winter because springtime reminds us of Jesus who carries light into darkness, brings life out of death, and replaces despair with a celebration of His resurrection!
Winter has been difficult for some of the pastors and missionaries serving in the remote Arctic, but you can bring them renewal, so “sweet to the soul.” You can help increase their ministry longevity so the light of Christ can penetrate the physical and spiritual darkness across this vast state. Come alongside the Arctic Barnabas team like “springtime” to these dear servants of Christ.
Please join us in offering prayers to help them fight the good fight, finish their race, keep the faith and grasp the promised reward: “Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing” (2 Timothy 4:8 NIV).
Your financial partnership with Arctic Barnabas allows us to continue encouraging pastors and missionaries in the remote Arctic. It is critical for us to visit these saints in their homes and on their turf (or tundra). Recent wintertime visits to pastor and ministry families in remote villages have confirmed the soul-uplifting power of good Christian fellowship. Please consider how you might partner with us to continue encouraging these saints. Thank you for joining us to faithfully encourage and come alongside those pastors and missionaries who bring His light and life to the ends of the earth.
