Austin and Evangela Brumfield joined Arctic Barnabas Ministries in April of 2024. ABM’s heart for pastoral care and encouraging and equipping the Gospel workers of remote Alaska fell in line with what they had felt the Lord calling them to do in full-time ministry work. They are excited to be a part of this ministry and use their skills to grow a thriving Gospel presence in the Arctic!
Austin and Evangela met in 2017 while pursuing their pilot’s licenses and missions training at the Florida College of Missionary Aviation. They married in 2020, and by 2022, had both completed their aircraft maintenance certifications (Evangela from the School of Missionary Aviation Technology, and Austin through apprenticeship).
The Brumfield’s are currently located in Lansing, Michigan, and plan to move to Alaska once they have formed a team of prayer partners and monthly financial supporters.
