Jacque Wilder

Board Member

Jacque grew up in the small village of Pile Bay at the head of Lake Iliamna where her
parents homesteaded in the early Alaska days. She was encouraged to become a
fisherman and went on to own her own Bristol Bay fishing site and permit for 38
years. She attended Prairie Bible Institute in high school and went on to graduate from
Kings Garden in Seattle, WA.

Jacque met and married Dave, her husband, had three children and lived in Iliamna,
Alaska for the first 12 years of their married life. Their home was always open to
strangers and missionaries alike as there were many coming and going through the
area. Each summer for 25 years, Tanalian Bible Camp pulled her heart to cook and
serve the campers that attended the first week in June. Jacque was asked to serve
along with Dave on the Arctic Barnabas Board during its first few years that it
began. She still serves with huge appreciation of where Arctic Barnabas Ministries is
headed and is thankful for each Director that has signed on to become a part of God’s
ultimate purpose, design, and direction.
