Jason and Anita Maust joined Arctic Barnabas in September of 2019. Jason is a missionary pilot and A&P mechanic. Jason received his mechanic training at MMS Aviation in Ohio, and his flight training at Missionary Air Group in NC. He has served alongside aviation ministries in Honduras, Haiti, Kenya, Cameroon, Gabon, and the USA.
Jason graduated from Grace College in Indiana and received three bachelor’s degrees in Youth Ministry, Counseling, and Sociology. He and his wife, Anita, served in Youth Ministry for 15 years at their local church. Jason demonstrates a real heart for teaching God’s Word, and for helping those who are hurting to see God at work in their lives. Jason also worked as a fine woodworker, both in CAD design and in hand-crafting custom wooden furniture.
Anita is a licensed and talented cosmetologist. She loves using this skill to bless others by helping them to feel better about themselves. She also enjoys sewing & jewelry making and loves teaching others these arts.
Both Jason and Anita were born and raised in northeast Ohio. Together, they have four wonderful children. The Maust family lives in Kenai, Alaska.
